 Nathan John Feuerstein, born March 30 1991, is an American rapper and singer. He is known as his initials, NF, that can be written as with the letter IF. He has released two EPs: I'm Free (2012),[3 and an EP self-titled in 2014 in association with Capitol CMG. His first major-label album, Mansion, was released on March 31, 2015. His second studio album Therapy Session, which was released on April 22, 2016 and peaked at the top of the list, number 12 in the US Billboard 200. The albums have been awarded numerous awards, including the Gospel Music Association Dove Award in Rap/Hip Hop Album (Therapy Session). Perception, NF's 2017 album, was ranked number one in the United States, and was certified platinum. The third single, "Let You Go", reached number twelve in the United States. Billboard Hot 100 topped the international charts as well as being a top ten single. The same commercial success was achieved with his follow up The Search (2019). Feuerstein stated that rap was a method to get away from his early years. Feuerstein recorded his songs using the Karaoke Machine, recording his instrumentals on one mic, and his raps on the other. Feuerstein self-released his debut album Moments on November 29, 2010 under his real name. The debut single, "Alone", was released on August 2, 2011. Brooke Griffith was the songwriter and produced the song. Xist Music noticed Feuerstein’s work in 2012. The 2nd of May, 2012 Feuerstein released his debut extended version of I'm Free that included production work from Profitt. The album's tracklist included nine tracks that included "Alone". The EP also contained the original version of Alone with Sean Simmonds. Xist teased for the release of the self-titled extended piece, NF, but Feuerstein parted ways with the label over a disagreement and the production of NF was postponed. NF was accompanied by a song, "Only One", featuring Shuree, Williams, on the label's compilation album, Move Vol 1 On November 4 in 2013, he debuted the single "Beautiful Addiction". Profitt again made an appearance in the song. Also, Danielle Swift sang.
